is a non-profit organization committed to expanding the game of basketball to our community youth. We have partnered with the City of Dearborn to promote quality basketball programs.

MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of DEARBORN BASKETBALL ASSOCIATION a non-profit organization is to teach young children the fundamentals of the game of basketball. We are committed to creating a fun and low cost recreational atmosphere. We never lose focus on skill development and healthy competition. The value of teaching teamwork, fair play and good sportsmanship goes well beyond the game.

DBA focuses on these skills as they apply in all areas of life.

We believe that the sport of basketball can be utilized as a platform to improve

social issues within our community.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

1. Run a HIGH QUALITY program where the parent’s decision to allow their child to participate is not based entirely on cost.

2. Improve a child’s life one dribble at a time. By creating an opportunity for a child to participate in a life skills recreational sports program.
